Description

The Alabin Street apartment has been newly renovated, in a contemporary style and to the highest standards, by its English owners. It enjoys a fantastic location – facing the imposing Law Courts to the front and the Vitosha mountain range to the back. It is 100m from Vitosha Boulevard, within a short walk of the Sheraton hotel, shopping areas, the main business district and tourist attractions. Being on the fifth floor of the building (no elevator, but the stairs are easy to manage!), and fully double glazed, the apartment is an oasis of calm in the most central part of Sofia. The building is a well maintained block, with 15 apartments and offices. On the ground floor is an excellent coffee shop and bakery, open from early until late. A wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops are within a few minutes walk, including the renowned Food Halls where you can buy an extensive range of fresh and prepared foods.
The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with electrical appliances – full size cooker and ceramic hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. There is also a good range of cooking utensils, crockery and glassware to enable you to prepare full meals or entertain your friends or business associates. There is a small balcony off the kitchen, facing onto Alabin Street.
The living room and dining room are spacious, bright and airy rooms with timber floors and plentiful seating. Satellite TV (28-inch screen), DVD player and a Hi-Fi (CD, cassette, radio) system are provided for your enjoyment, as well as a range of CD’s and books.
There is also a convenient desk, with internet access for your laptop computer. Full instructions are provided in the apartment to connect to the Internet (at no cost to you).
The main bedroom is well proportioned, with a king sized bed and plentiful cupboard and drawer space, mirrors, bedside reading lamps, radio alarm, hairdryer and a choice of duvets for summer or winter temperatures. There is a balcony off the bedroom, with views of the Vitosha mountain range.
The stylish bathroom is spacious and well lit with a large corner shower. There is an independent hot water system to counteract the vagaries of the Sofia water supply.
The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed, and the armchair converts into a single bed, suitable for a child. Therefore, the apartment can sleep upto two couples and a child, though it is more suitable for one couple and a child. There is an iron and board, and clothes airer for your convenience.
There is a taxi rank 50m from the apartment and the tram passes outside. Street parking is plentiful, across the road from the apartment, at weekends. During the week, it would be preferable to use one of several local car parks, although it is possible to park in front of the building on a first come first serve basis.
Every three days, the apartment is serviced and the linen is changed. Guests could be met at the airport or train station and a complimentary car (suitable for up to 3 persons with luggage) from Sofia Apartments could bring you to the apartment and provide any assistance which you may need, including organising your mandatory registration with the police.
