This newly renovated retro style apartment is located at the very heart of Sofia in the old city center. It is just next to the Alexander Nevski Cathedral and the national Gallery of Foreign Arts. The St. 40 Martyrs Church is also within a minute walk. At a range of a 2 min walk is located the National Assembly building and Rakovski str known as the Bulgarian Broadway for its numerous theaters. You can reach the apartment for just 25 min with a taxi from the airport and only 15 min from the Railway and Bus Stations. Although the apartment has a superb location it is very quiet and separated from the city's noises by a small park.
The apartment itself is situated at 4th floor and just underneath it there is an art gallery. Nevermind the fact that the apartment is in the historic part of Sofia it has central heating.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electrical appliances – a cook, a fridge, a microwave, a toaster and a coffee maker. Also there are a good range of cooking utensils, glassware and cutlery at your disposal. A washing machine, an iron and an ironing board are also there for your convenience. A small table is fitted in the kitchen so as to have a quick snack there.
In the dining room you can find and old antique table form the beginning of the XX century where you can have a meal or or just chat with a friend of yours. Photos of old Sofia are set on the walls so as to catch the spirit of this period and to contribute to your entertainment.
Next to the dining room there is the living room. It also has old style furniture with a leather sofa where you can entertain yourself with the cable TV, the high speed Internet connection or simply watch a DVD. There is also a balcony with a view to the magnificent Alexander Nevski Cathedral.
You can enter both bedrooms from the dining room. They are spacious and fitted with large queen size beds. Each one has a wardrobe and cupboards, convenient bedside reading lamps and big mirrors. So as to make your stay extra special we have fitted one of the bedrooms with an authentic wardrobe and cupboards from the beginning of the XX century.
The bathroom although not very big is bright and clean. There is a corner shower, a mirror and a window. An independent hot water heating system is installed in order to counteract the Sofia inexplicable water supply.
A cleaning service service is provided every three days for your convenience.
